The Skating Club of Boston’s Skating Academy is pleased to announce the opening of its newest campus at the Roxbury Latin School in West Roxbury, MA!
Registration is now open for ice skating and hockey skills lessons for children age 4+ and adults.
Why Skating Academy?
Skating Academy coaches are the most accomplished coaches in New England. Our coaches are all accredited by U.S. Figure Skating and will make sure you or your child learn the best techniques for figure skating and hockey in a fun, supportive environment using the Learn to Skate USA curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey.
Basic Skills
Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adult. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey curriculum. Basic Skills sessions offered: Basic Skills 1-6, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6 and Adult 1-6.

Hockey Skills
Program includes the fundamentals of hockey skating, teaching skaters how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper skating technique is the primary focus and skaters will learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful.
