
Boston Common Frog Pond, 38 Beacon Street, Boston, MA
Frog Pond Campus classes are held at the beautiful outdoor rink on historic Boston Common in the middle of downtown Boston. Skating Academy group lessons are held while Frog Pond is closed to the public so the entire rink is available to learn, practice and enjoy.
Skate rental fees are included in the class price! This is an outdoor rink with no indoor seating or heated area so please dress accordingly.
Programs Offered
Basic Skills
Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adult. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum which is endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey. Basic Skills sessions offered: Snowplow Sam 1-3, Basic Skills 1-6, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6, and Adult 1-6. Basic Skills schedule and registration can be found below.
Private Lessons
Private and semi-private lessons at Frog Pond are fun for every age, offering personalized attention for beginning and advanced skaters. Flexible lesson plans range from single private lessons to packages including multiple lessons.
