DCR Steriti Memorial Rink – 561 Commercial Street, Boston, MA
Operated by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the facility offers open viewing, seating areas, and limited skate rentals. Located in the historic North End, there is convenient access to public transportation at the MBTA’s North Station, on street parking and parking garages within walking distance.

- Registration will close five business days prior to the first class at each campus location
- Classes will include 25 minutes of instructional time and 25 minutes of practice time. Please keep in mind that instruction and practice may be either during the first 25 minutes or the second 25 minutes which is determined by level.

Snowplow Sam
This is where it all begins! These classes are designed to help children six and younger develop the ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed. The ABCs are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. Basic Skills
Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adults. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey. Basic Skills sessions offered: Snowplow Sam, Basic Skills, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6, and Adults at all levels. Learn More
