DCR Steriti Memorial Rink, 561 Commercial Street, North End, Boston, MA
Operated by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the facility offers open viewing, seating areas, and limited skate rentals. Located in the historic North End, there is convenient access to public transportation at the MBTA’s North Station, on-street parking and parking garages within walking distance.
Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 6+) through adult. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum which is endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey. Basic Skills sessions offered: Basic Skills 2-6, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6, and Adult 2-6.

Michael Phaneuf has been the Program Director for Skating Academy’s Therapeutic Skating Program since 2014. He is a graduate of Babson College and has his Masters in Middle School Math Education and Special Eduction from the University of Massachusetts.
