Boch Ice Center, 1105 East Street, Dedham, MA

Boch Ice Center offers an off-ice lounge with vending machines, a mezzanine perfect for watching skaters on the ice and a Pro Shop. Skate rentals are not available at this Campus, please make sure your skater arrives for lessons with their own skates.

Programs Offered

Basic Skills

Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adult. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey. Basic Skills sessions offered: Basic Skills 1-6, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6, Hockey 1-4, and Adult 1-6.

Hockey Skills

Program includes the fundamentals of hockey skating, teaching skaters how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper skating technique is the primary focus and skaters will learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful.

Keri graduated from University of Massachusetts Boston in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in dance. Coming from a background in singles skating, synchronized skating, ice dancing and short track speed skating, she took her love for the sport and turned it into a coaching career. For the last 15 years, Keri has been coaching everything from New England Regional competitors to Theatre On Ice teams. – continue reading –
