- Classes will include 25-minutes of instructional time and 25-minutes of practice time. Please keep in mind that instruction and practice may be either during the first 25 minutes or the second 25 minutes which is determined by level.

Programs Offered
First Steps
Uniquely designed for children that are ages 3 to 5 years old, the First Steps program introduces skating to young children in a fun group environment. Each skater will be able to build confidence in their on-ice capabilities, and in themselves, through fun activities and games in a positive environment. Skaters can progress at their own rate and advance after learning the required skills. Learn More
Hockey Skating Skills
Program includes the fundamentals of hockey skating, teaching skaters how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper skating technique is the primary focus and skaters will learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful. Learn More
Snowplow Sam
This is where it all begins! These classes are designed to help children six and younger develop the ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed. The ABCs are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. All classes will be taught in a safe and positive environment, incorporating fun and games making class time an enjoyable experience for all. Learn More
Aspire
A fast-paced, accelerated program, focusing on proper stretching techniques, warm-up and cool down both on and off the ice, stroking, edges and power skating, introductory moves in the field, spins, jumps, and Artistry in Motion (beginning choreography and style). Students are evaluated and tested based on Learn To Skate USA’s curriculum. Skaters must be 6 years old and have passed at least Basic 4 and up to Preliminary Free Skate to register for this program. Basic Skills
Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adults. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey. Basic Skills sessions offered: Snowplow Sam, Basic Skills, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6, and Adults at all levels. Learn More
Adaptive Skating
Adaptive Skating is a unique program providing children and adults with disabilities access to the sport of figure skating by offering them an opportunity to participate in a specialized skating experience. The program director, instructors, volunteer coordinator, and volunteers, work closely with each skater and family to tailor their individual instructional needs. Learn More
