Linda’s love for skating began when she was nine years old while skating on the outdoor rink her father made for her and her friends in their backyard.

After joining The Skating Club of Rhode Island, Linda started private lessons where she loved to jump, skate fast and compete. She competed in regionals for seven years, qualified for sectionals twice and competed in the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She is a gold medalist in free skating, moves in the field and figures.

Linda has coached skaters from beginner thru Gold/Senior free skating, Figures and moves in the field. Linda has also been a primary coach to regional, sectional, U.S. championship and international competitors.

Linda has been teaching private lessons and group classes for 35 years. She has been a staff coach at The Skating Club of Boston for 23 years. She is a level IV master-rated coach through the Professional Skaters Association in free skating, moves in the field and group disciplines while holding a senior rating in figures. Linda is also a PSA Ratings Examiner.

As a proud member of the Club for over 36 years, Linda brings her love of The Skating Club of Boston, and attention to detail, to Skating Academy’s Special Events Coordinator position.

Linda has been a Boston Campus Manager for the past 18 years. She has been the Skating Academy choreographer for Ice Chips: Show of Champions for the past 14 years and the chairperson for The Skating Club of Boston Skating Academy Annual Basic Skills Competition for the past 18 years.

Linda is available for private lessons at The Skating Club of Boston.

Her goal as Boston Weekend Campus Manager is to have every skater be the best that they can be, beginner, competitor or adult.
