Cronin Memorial Rink – 870 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere, MA

The Cronin Memorial Skating Arena is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts public ice skating facility, overseen by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). FMC Ice Sports has operated the arena for the DCR since 2007. The arena is a full-service skating facility offering an extensive variety of skating programs for all ages and abilities. The facility features snacks and light fare at the snack bar and a heated meeting room.

The Cronin Memorial Skating Arena provides patrons with affordable recreation in a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility.

  • Registration will close five business days prior to the first class at each campus location
  • Rentals are available for $7.00 each week
  • Classes will include 25-minutes of instructional time and 25-minutes of practice time. Please keep in mind that instruction and practice may be either during the first 25-minutes or the second 25-minutes which is determined by level.

Snowplow Sam

This is where it all begins! These classes are designed to help children six and younger develop the ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed. The ABCs are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. All classes will be taught in a safe and positive environment, incorporating fun and games making class time an enjoyable experience for all. Learn More

Basic Skills

Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adults. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey. Basic Skills sessions offered: Snowplow Sam, Basic Skills, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6, and Adults at all levels. Learn More
