LEARN TO SKATE
From a skater’s first steps on the ice to perfecting their jumps and spins, Skating Academy coaches and staff are ready to support everyone as they improve their skating skills. Class curriculum follows U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey.
A unique program providing children and young adults with a wide range of disabilities the opportunity to participate in a specialized skating experience.
Skating in the Schools brings the sport of figure skating to Boston youths combining class instruction on the physics and chemistry of skating with on-ice skating lessons at The Boston Common Frog Pond.
The Skating Academy’s Summer Camp at Babson College is a summer favorite! Skaters enjoy on-ice lessons, professional choreography, strength & conditioning, yoga, and dance. Each week closes on a fun note with on-ice performances by the campers and coaches!
Stay active during school breaks and vacations by joining Skating Academy on the ice for special clinics. As with Summer Camp, skaters will take part in programs both on and off the ice.
BASIC SKILLS COMPETITIONS
Even the smallest and youngest skaters can compete! Basic Skills Competitions are fun first step into the competitive world of figure skating.
EVENTS & PERFORMANCES
Skating Academy skaters are eligible to take the ice and perform alongside U.S. and international skating champions in professionally produced shows from The Skating Club of Boston.
