Skating Academy's Beverly Campus

Raymond J. Bourque Arena at Endicott College, 300 Hale St, Beverly, MA

Located off Route 127 in Beverly, Massachusetts, the arena is home to Endicott College’s men’s and women’s NCAA Division III ice hockey teams. The facility offers viewing bleachers on both sides of the ice surface and vending machines for snacks and drinks.
Skate rentals are not available at the Beverly Campus. Please make sure your skater arrives for lessons with their own skates.

Programs Offered

Basic Skills

Fun, goal-oriented program for beginners, children (age 4+) through adult. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey curriculum. Basic Skills sessions offered: Snowplow Sam 1-3, Basic Skills 1-6, Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate 6 and Adult 1-6.

Hockey Skills

Program includes the fundamentals of hockey skating, teaching skaters how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper skating technique is the primary focus and skaters will learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful.

Prior to becoming the Beverly Campus Manager, Lisa Coppola was a coach with The Skating Club of Boston® Skating Academy for eight years. As a skater, she skated competitively for fifteen years and is a New England Regional medalist and Eastern Sectional competitor. She was a 1980 Olympic alternate and a Senior Freestyle Champion (Italy). In 1981 she was a World Team competitor and has toured with Ice Follies Holiday. – continue reading –
